After 7 straight days of wonderful Parisian fare, we needed a change of pace. We passed this place on our way back to our hotel and saw it was open on New Years Day and had a lot of customers. The reviews weren't great but it looked decent from the outside. We were seated promptly and waiter was nice. We were expecting slow service, small portions and of course to not taste like Panda Express. Um hello you're in Paris for goodness sake. You are suppose to take it slow, and enjoy your not super size meal.

Everything was tasty. It is ala carte so expect to pay per dish. Highly recommend if you are craving Chinese food in Paris.

We almost didn't go here because of all the negative reviews but were a little strapped, being Christmas night and all. And because most of the kvetching seemed related to price and waitstaff demeanor, which, hey, fair enough. They weren't wrong about that. Staff was gruff, food came out slowly and one dish at a time, but at least it was edible and we didn't get food poisoning. The veggie dumplings were good, hot and sour soup was ok. Ordered some veggies with tofu which was fairly boring--just bok choy with mushrooms and a couple carrot slices. Liked the spring rolls that came with lettuce to wrap around them. Passable food, but slow, not friendly and perhaps a bit pricey for the size- but open Xmas day and filled with Chinese people--which I take as a positive sign.

We were on our way back to the hotel and even though we'd been walking all day all over Paris, we couldn't make up our minds as to what to eat. We'd grown a bit tired of cheese and baguettes (ok, not really) as we passed by this restaurant and stopped to look at the menu, we gave up on trying to decide and walked in.
Although WAY more expensive than what we're used to paying for Chinese food in the US, everything was very good. I had the curried chicken with some fried rice, while my wife had the chicken chow mein. Both dishes were good and plentiful.
Not sure why the other poor reviews on this place. While not the best we'd ever had and certainly not your typical Parisienne fare, but a good meal none the less.
We didn't have any appetizers or desserts, but left very content. One of our few nights without a bottle of Bordeaux.

I am convinced that they serve small portions on small plates, with high prices to tourist only.  The manager in the dark suit seating customers is the rudest man I have ever encountered.  He is mean and nasty and talks down to costumers, they are relying on the tourist trade to get away with this horrible behavior.  Please do not go to this restaurant, if I can give it zero stars that would be applicable.

Food was not terrible but very small portion sizes with expensive prices.  Restaurant is cozy but also a bit cramped. We were there on a slow night but the waiter sat us next to others in the room with no privacy. There is better than this in Paris. Keep looking.
